PROCLAMING THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Please plan on attending the service on Sunday September 12th. The Total Ministry Team from Detroit Lakes will be celebrating the service with us. They will stay with us after the service for fellowship, food, and discussion about how Total Ministry has worked in their church.

The Gideon’s will be giving a brief talk at the beginning of the service on the 12th also.

Safe Church

Mark your calendar! Safe Church training will be offered at St. James on Sat. November 6th from 9:30-12:30. All members who work with children or have a key to the church are required to attend!

summer an oil painting, and autumn a mosaic of them all.”

Welcome to St. James' Episcopal Church

Where tradition meets today and love and grace abound

Our mission at St. James' Episcopal Church is to proclaim the Kingdom of God.

We will strive for a loving, Christ-centered community which will accept all people.

We hope to be a Christian witness in the Fergus Falls community by caring for a person's mind, body, and soul.

Our help in all we endeavor is from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We are a member of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America and of the world-wide Anglican Communion.

We are Catholic in our liturgies and Protestant in our governance.

We affirm the two historic Creeds (Nicene and Apostles') and base our beliefs theologically and morally on God's word written in Holy Scripture. We affirm the centrality and essential nature of the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Eucharist.

Road Construction around Lake Alice

Please note that road construction around Lake Alice will begin in August. The project will start on South Lakeside Drive. We will still be able to access our parking lot, but parking in front of the church will be eliminated for a time as the road will be two-way traffic. Parking will need to be in the parking lot or on West Lakeside Drive
